Exciting new book offer from The Baby Café Charitable Trust

Resource Bank
Your licence fee entitles you to access our Resource Bank which contains an ever growing collection of resources and information for you to use. You will find templates for publicity materials, order details for promotional resources and back copies of all our newsletters and updates, to name just a few.
You will need the password which was sent to you during the licensing process. If you have forgotten it please contact our administrator

The Baby Café Handbook
All our licensed drop-ins receive a copy of The Baby Café Handbook which outlines in great detail everything you need to know about setting up and running your group.  We recommend that the handbook be made available to co-facilitators, volunteers and peer supporters so that everyone involved is aware of the policies and aims of The Baby Café.  It is a handbook that you can keep available for reference in case you have any queries in the future.

Licence Certificate
Your Licence Certificate must be displayed at your venue.

Statistics and Feedback
In addition to the ongoing records necessary for efficient running of your Baby Café drop-in, Baby Café facilitators are under agreement to provide the Charitable Trust with detailed statistics and feedback annually which we need to complete the charity's annual report.  You should begin collecting this information as soon as your Baby Café is open.  Further information and a data collection tool is available in the Resource Bank.
Increasing breastfeeding at six to eight weeks - new statistics requirement from 2008

Publicity
Babies grow and mums move on so it is very important to continue publicising your Baby Café drop-in to make ante-natal and new mums aware of what you offer. You will find further publicity ideas in The
Baby Café Handbook and resources to use in our Resource Bank.

Funding
In today’s health care climate this can be one of the greatest challenges in sustaining a Baby Café drop-in. Therefore you will find detailed information in The Baby Café Handbook and Resources Bank to help you apply for further funding under The Baby Café Charitable Trust name.  It is vital that you keep the Charitable Trust up-to-date with your fundraising activities as the charity is legally accountable for all monies raised.

Keep in touch
Please e-mail our administrator any further information or photos you would like added to your Baby Café web page.  You should always seek permission from mothers first.  Unless you state otherwise we will assume the permission includes use by the Charitable Trust for promotional purposes and on the Internet.
Contact our administrator as soon as possible if any changes are made to your meeting arrangements or staff so that we can keep our database and your web page up-to-date. When contacting us do include your Baby Café name in your e-mail to help us quickly access your details.

You may also find the Health Professionals homepage a useful guide to relevant parts of our website.
