Breastfeeding charities with free helpline numbers (mainly UK based):
La Leche League International La Leche League Great Britain An international breastfeeding charity with a worldwide network of volunteer breastfeeding counsellors who help mothers by telephone and also run support meetings. La Leche League publishes many books and leaflets for mothers and health professionals. Find your nearest counsellor or group.	National Childbirth Trust UK charity providing a breastfeeding telephone helpline, antenatal and postnatal classes and other resources for parents.
Association of Breastfeeding Mothers UK charity providing a telephone helpline, information and useful publications	The Breastfeeding Network UK charity providing a telephone helpline, drugs helpline, support centres and leaflets and information sheets.

For details of Lactation Consultants in private practice:
International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) These are health professionals holding the internationally recognised lactation qualification. Those working in private practice will charge for their time but are usually willing to visit you at home. The link helps you find your nearest.	Lactation Consultants of Great Britain Lactation Consultants of Great Britain is the UK association International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs).
